We have seen an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and have witnessed many people getting saved. But we have been asking “What’s Next?”

This will be a discipleship program for new believers to get paired up with mentors in the church to guide them along this new and exciting journey.

Jesus gives the church the Great Commission in Matthew 28—”Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” A disciple is a life-long follower of Jesus, and part of the Great Commission is to walk alongside new believers—encouraging them, praying for them, and discipling them.

We are asking that if anyone is interested in being a mentor to someone, if God has laid that on your heart, we want to invite you to an interest meeting in January. At that meeting, you will learn about the overall vision of the ministry and the process of becoming a mentor.

So, if God has been laying it on your heart to pour into someone else’s life, then this ministry may be your next step. Can’t wait to see what God is going to do!
